On Thursday, November 2, more than 1,800 students from 39 schools across Connecticut participated in HMF FitKids in School “Medal Day”- the culmination of weeks of training supported by the Hartford Marathon Foundation.

Stunning floral displays created by our own Suffield Garden Club, a festive cocktail party, sweet Teddy Bear Tea and a book signing to honor a new publication will usher in Home for the Holidays at the Phelps-Hatheway House. This year, the skilled ladies of the Suffield Garden Club, many of whom have graciously tended the Hatheway Gardens for many years, will dedicate hours to making wreaths, floral arrangements, and table décor and to embellishing live evergreen trees both inside and out of our 18th century museum.
