The Friends of Kent Memorial Library will resume monthly book collections on Saturday May 1 from 10 a.m. to noon in the lower lobby of Kent Memorial Library.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a $100,000 Greater Together Community Fund for the Town of Suffield. In 2019, the Hartford Foundation established a Greater Together Community Fund in each of the 29 towns within the Foundation’s region to support residents in taking ownership around the needs in their towns, encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement and anchor the Foundation in each town.
Emile Backes, a well-known face around Suffield, has recently had a book of his poetry published. It is for sale at Feather and Bloom in Suffield’s Mountain Road Market Place.
