Customers are always amazed at the deals they can find at the Second Chance Shop, and this year’s annual 25%-off spring dress sale in April was no exception.
The bobolink, a songbird, is one of the stars of these habitats. About the size of a sparrow, the male bobolink is mostly black with a striking top half of black and white and a yellow patch on the back of his neck resembling a pulled-down hood.
While calls to save the bees are nothing new, there is a new effort in Connecticut to replenish local bee populations.
