As the weather becomes nicer and more of us move outside to enjoy it, children on bicycles are one of the hazards drivers need to be aware of. According to Stanford Children’s Health website about 100 children are killed and 54,000 are injured each year as a result of bicycle related accidents.

In mid- January the U.S. Army’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) provided an opportunity to interview Sgt. Emily Sweeney, a graduate of Suffield High School and a two-time Olympic luger.
