100 Years Ago in Suffield

December 2 The Emergency Aid Association has started the sale of Red Cross Christmas seals in this town and packages of 100 seals have been mailed to every family in town with an explanatory letter.

A Moment in Time: Old Photos Invited from Our Readers

On Sunday afternoon, November 10, 1957, a small crowd gathered in the Suffield High School auditorium (now Suffield Middle School) for the charter meeting of the Suffield chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Holidayfest is Alive and Well!

We are happy to announce the Suffield Historical Society will hold its holiday exhibit at the King House Museum on December 4 and December 5 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Our theme this year is Vintage Sports Paraphernalia, and we will be showing equipment, photographs and memorabilia. Come and enjoy our exhibit and holiday decorations in Dr. King’s lovely 18th century home.
