Suffield 350th Celebration Continues Next Year
This August has brought a school opening like no other. On August 31, we opened our doors, and our computers, to our students for the first day of school.
This 350th Anniversary of the establishment of Suffield was an opportunity to create an educational and inspirational film reflecting on events of the past and present and preparations for the future. A film company, Our Town Films of New Jersey, was hired to achieve this task with the help of members of Suffield’s 350th Committee.
The November 3 Presidential Election will be held in the Suffield Middle School gymnasium, 350 Mountain Road, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Due to COVID, voters are asked to wear face masks and to sanitize their hands as they enter the polls.
The Suffield Woman’s Club delivered meals to the Suffield Police Department in August in appreciation for their service.
The Suffield Public Schools announced its policy for determining eligibility of children who may receive free or reduced-price meals served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
