Suffield’s town green waves proudly with 350 commemorative flags honoring the memory and dedication of those who have served and are serving our country and community.
On May 19, 1679, Joseph Seger was granted forty acres by John Pynchon’s Committee for Suffield.
We’re expecting an amazing firework show on Saturday night! To maintain social distancing, fireworks display company Pyrotechnico, recommended that the show be designed entirely around six-inch shells that are designed to explode 600 feet in the air.
On August 17, ABAR Suffield presented recommendations for making Suffield Public Schools an anti-biased and antiracist community to the Board of Education. The recommendations were based on feedback from SPS parents and students and antiracist pedagogy.
Over 40 years ago, Dave and I settled in Suffield to raise our sons, David J. and Brian. Little did I know, then, just how deep my family roots are here.
The Rotary motto is “Service above Self.” Rotarians are involved in many projects in our community, and in the world. Neither the community’s needs nor our commitment stops for a pandemic.
Enfield Loaves and Fishes (soup kitchen) is in need of volunteers everyday Monday through Friday. We are open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
