In February 2020, most Suffield students had found themselves continuing to endure a busy and demanding schedule, on track to finish the school year strong; however, Covid-19 suddenly put the year on pause, instilling boredom, fear and loneliness in many.
Sidney Eitel helps one of her chickens climb the ramp. With family help and generous donations, she renovated 900 square feet at the west end of the old Hilltop Farm chicken house, bought two dozen chicks, and is now about ready to market their eggs.
First Church of Christ Congregational in Suffield has chosen in this unprecedented time to live by the motto, “We Are Still The Church.” First Church is not worshipping within the walls of our beautiful building on High Street but continues to worship remotely online.
