In early November, in conjunction with their journalism unit, the fifth grade teachers at McAlister Intermediate School invited the Observer staff to speak to the students about what is included in writing a story for the paper.
There is a cemetery in Suffield at 36 Mountain Road called the Old Center Cemetery. It has gravestones from the late 1600s and on.
Dogs are amazing buddies, can do so many things and are bred all over our world. A dog is a domesticated carnivore of the canidae family and a wolf-like species.
There is a great place in West Suffield called Sunrise Park. If you have not been there or do not know a thing about this great place, keep reading!
The alpaca farm was hidden for eight years, and now it is finally open until Christmas. It is open Wednesdays – Sundays, 12 – 4 p.m.
Despite some obstacles – including the current COVID-19 epidemic – the Suffield Middle School program continues to flourish as one of the strongest academic program the school offers its approximately 450 students on an annual basis.
Unfortunately, our field hockey team wasn’t able to compete against their NCCC seeds as a result of two other teams quarantining.
