Despite the predicted eight inches of snow for Sunday, February 9, the Suffield Foundation for Excellent Schools (SFES) held their first annual pickleball tournament fundraiser at the new Suffield Pickleball indoor facility on Kenny Roberts Drive, and a good time was had by all.

Not too long ago at dusk, we met a group of Hartford Audubon Society birders to watch the crows come home to roost for the night. Our fearless leader had been observing the crows’ behavior for several weeks and instructed us to meet in Hartford at a school near Flatbush Ave.
