Residents were surprised Saturday morning, August 15, to discover this big sign freshly mounted at the driveway of St. Joseph Church, announcing the online auction in five days of the contents of the rectory and the convent.
First Church of Christ Congregational in Suffield has chosen in this unprecedented time to live by the motto, “We Are Still The Church.” First Church is not worshipping within the walls of our beautiful building on High Street but continues to worship remotely online.
Gilbane Construction Manager Nishant Patel reported to the Public Building Commission’s August 3 Zoom meeting that the project was fully mobilized, and the building’s interior had been scanned into a complete 3-D digital model for future efficiency in the work.

The 350th cookbook, which with fingers crossed, will be available in September, will feature Suffield farms and farm stands and contains about 300 recipes provided by your Suffield neighbors.
