The Suffield Public Schools announced its policy for determining eligibility of children who may receive free or reduced-price meals served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
This August has brought a school opening like no other. On August 31, we opened our doors, and our computers, to our students for the first day of school.
As Suffield students returned to school for the 2020-2021 year, they may have been surprised by the recent changes in their schools’ administration. The changes occurred over the summer with a reshuffling of personnel.
Brittani Burke received a national FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) Silver award in Proficiency in Diversified Livestock Production.
Staff has been working inside our locked door since the pandemic began. We have used the time to familiarize ourselves with programs and resources to help our residents who have been impacted by Covid-19.
Enfield Loaves and Fishes (soup kitchen) is in need of volunteers everyday Monday through Friday. We are open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
As we approach voting season, more lawn signs supporting candidates, as well as issues that are of concern to our community, will be popping up.
