In the two months since that busy volunteer Saturday when clean-up and painting at Babb’s Beach was accomplished, work has continued.
Earlier this year the Town had an estimate done by ATC, an environmental firm, for abatement of Bridge Street School (BSS).
The Suffield Parks & Recreation Department, Kent Memorial Library, Suffield Senior Center & Mini Bus, and Suffield Youth Services have collaborated on this town-wide Halloween harvest themed event which will be held at the Senior Center on Saturday, October 22.

The Suffield Firemen’s Association offered Suffield their Family Day and Fireworks on July 16 at Spaulding School and ended with a great fireworks show.
This was the second year that the Suffield Police Department invited the Fire Department, the Volunteer Ambulance Association and the Public Works Department to roll out samples of their equipment and invite the public to join in this nationally observed event.
September is Healthy Aging Month and Emergency Preparedness Month.
