That’s about the best one can say as the Permanent Building Commission chooses alternatives for proceeding. They are confident the problem of PCB contamination in the old portion of the expanded building can be solved, and they are now moving ahead with recommendations made by Robert May of Fuss & O’Neill, a noted expert on the subject.
The debate over data privacy heated up this year when Apple refused access to the government for the cellphone records of the shooters in the San Bernardino attack. The debate about who should have access to private information is not new.

for Kids Age 3 – Grade 4
Whether you are a seasoned reader or like to be read to, we have a summer reading program for you. Reach for the Stars is our theme this year. The kids’ program lasts seven weeks and is intended for age 3 to grade 4. Each week that you read, hand in a list of your books and get a prize.
Since the Kent Memorial Library will be closed for the holiday on July 2, the Friends’ July book collection will be held on Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.
