Photo by Renee Wood Proudly displaying their blanket creation are, from the left, Suffield Woman’s Club members Joann Pawelcik, Norann Coggins, Dian Friedman and Loretta Ruggiero. Members of Suffield Woman’s Club (SWC) met in November to continue with their ongoing project of creating fleece fabric blankets for children in need. The process of hand-tying the knots involved several members working around the edge of the blanket until it is complete. Fun and laughter greatly outweighed the knot-tying skills and speed that members brought to the table! SWC’s December meeting is the annual Holiday Luncheon to be held at Skyline Restaurant in Windsor Locks on December 13.
