Volunteers Build Five Houses

On a busy Saturday morning July 9, a group of enthusiastic volunteers worked on constructing five houses to be donated to families who might otherwise have difficulty obtaining necessary housing – for their pets.

Suffield’s Sibbil Dwight Kent Chapter of The Daughters of The American Revolution is collecting used American flags to ensure that they are disposed of properly.

National Night Out Returns

This was the second year that the Suffield Police Department invited the Fire Department, the Volunteer Ambulance Association and the Public Works Department to roll out samples of their equipment and invite the public to join in this nationally observed event.

Cyclists Invade SHS

The big group of bicycle tourists who rode through Suffield at the start of August were riding with Cycle Massachusetts, which calls itself “The Friendliest Rides in the East.”

Sutton Swims to Three Gold Medals
