On March 27, as my neighbor and I were taking our early morning walk I fell on the sidewalk on N. Main Street. As I sat catching my breath a black pick-up truck stopped and a young man hurried over to help me up.

A Dramatic Reenactment

The Suffield Historical Society’s Zoom meeting on Tuesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. will feature Kevin Johnson, who will dramatically reenact the historic figure of Jordan Freeman, an African-American servant of John Ledyard and the body servant of Col. William Ledyard in the Revolutionary War.

What’s happening at SCA this month?

SCA is Assisting Older Residents to Access COVID-19 Vaccine: SCA staff is assisting CDC-eligible, older residents in exploring their options for obtaining COVID-19 vaccine. Priority is given to those residents age 75+ and/or who do not have access to a computer.
