The Suffield Firefighters Association regrettably announces the cancellation of the annual Paul R. Simison Memorial 5K Road Race/Walk scheduled for April 26th co-sponsored by Windsor Federal Savings.
Due to the library closing, this show, originally scheduled for April 1 – 30, will be rescheduled to a later date.
Leave technology behind and discover the traditional skills of the past in our Summer Sampler Camp. Students age 12-16 are invited to join the ladies of the beautiful Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden to immerse themselves in more advanced crafts and activities popular during the 18th – 20th centuries.
Suffield Land Conservancy’s Annual Spring Programs are a wonderful opportunity to connect with the outdoors, discover wildflowers, explore the forests, and uncover different species of birds that are right in your very own backyards. Open to the public, please join us for each of these outdoor adventures with your friends and family members.
The Suffield Woman’s Club (SWC) is accepting applications for the Thea Coburn Scholarship. The applicant should be a resident of Suffield or a graduate of the Agri-Science Center in Suffield and must have completed at least one year of higher education.
SCA is updating its list of residents in the community who would benefit from a check-up call during a town or state-wide emergency. Residents who use oxygen or need electricity for medical equipment are strongly encouraged to call.
The West Suffield Village Improvement Association will hold its annual tag sale Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Academy Hall, 1499 Mountain Road. Donations may be dropped off the mornings of March 28, April 2 and 3.
Five members of the Suffield Woman’s Club were surprised during one of their blanket-making sessions in Father Ted Hall when Father Clooney from Ireland, who was visiting Sacred Heart Church at the time, offered to help.
The Suffield Arts Council will present a show of photography by Suffield resident Emile Backes in the William Pinney Gallery of Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library during the month of March. The show will be on display from March 3 through March 31.
