This year the Town of Suffield will usher in the holiday season with a new program for the whole family—Holiday Tree Gala.
The Suffield Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting, in the evening, on Monday, October 1 at 5:45 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 100 North Main Street.
EAA Became SCA on September 1: On August 31st, our new sign was unveiled with board members of the newly renamed Suffield Community Aid on hand.
Members are invited to come in costume to the King House Museum porch to help distribute goodies on Halloween.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum will once again be hosting its popular Halloween events, Pumpkin Patch & Rails to the Darkside. These two fundraising events are extremely important to funding the museum’s many family programs.
This event is held with the help of the Shaker Pines Fire Dept.
Key members of the staff prepare the cake plates and pour the bubbly for the folks who assembled at the end of August to unveil the new sign on South Street for what is now known as Suffield Community Aid.
The Land Conservancy’s South Grand Street property has gone through some recent reclamation work this past spring and summer. The 60-acre property was given to the Land Conservancy by the Tennessee Gas Pipeline as part of their wetland mitigation program last fall.
