For the 57th year since the establishment of the custom, members of the Suffield Garden Club observed Arbor Day by distributing seedling trees provided by the Club’s Vallery Gallivan Tree Fund to all the Suffield fourth grade students.
Vintage base ball, played by more than 200 teams around the country, is still called base ball because it is played according to regulations and rules codified in the mid-1800’s.
The Sibbil Dwight Kent Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR) held its Good Citizen Award presentation on May 22.

On the first weekend of April, Cub Scout Pack 266 held their annual Crossover Campout.
Andiamo in Italia! translated means, “We are going to Italy!” Troops 260 and 262 recently announced they are planning an epic trip to Italy in the summer of 2023.
The Suffield Arts Council will feature a show of work, by members of the Manchester Art Association, in the Pinney Gallery of the Kent Memorial Library during the month of May.
