This year’s Suffield on the Green had the feel of a typical fall weekend, however there was some rain on both Saturday and Sunday that closed the SOTG early at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, although, the sun did eventually come out on Sunday. The crowds, crafters, musicians, local charities and food booths were resilient!!!

As the end of 2020 draws near, ABAR Suffield celebrates our first six months together with grateful minds and hearts.
We are so thankful for our volunteers! Joan Heffernan and I have overseen the gardens and orchard areas of Hilltop Farm for several years.

Winterfest 2020 and the “Tunnel of Lights” began Friday, November 27. Winterfest will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from November 27 through December 20.

As we hit the trails this time of year, we may have to dig deeper to find the beauty around us. Heavy snow has yet to fly, the songbirds with their lovely plumage and melodic songs have headed south, the leaves have fallen, and the woods are mostly quiet and still.
