Earlier this summer, I saw about a dozen people congregating by the Civil War memorial on the Green. It was about 8 p.m. and hot by New England standards.

Earlier this summer, I saw about a dozen people congregating by the Civil War memorial on the Green. It was about 8 p.m. and hot by New England standards.
Earlier this year the Town had an estimate done by ATC, an environmental firm, for abatement of Bridge Street School (BSS).
In the two months since that busy volunteer Saturday when clean-up and painting at Babb’s Beach was accomplished, work has continued.
Labor Day, National Read a Book Day, Grandparents Day, Autumn, and Back to School.
The Town has been busy through these lazy days of summer!
The public is encouraged to attend these commission meetings.
The June 30 meeting of the Suffield Police Commission, with First Selectman Melissa Mack present, was the kind of meeting one can enjoy with a comforting feeling.
The Suffield Local Prevention Council (SLPC) was formed in March of this year and is made up of volunteer community members, educators, law enforcement personnel, medical personnel, town employees, parents and concerned citizens.
