On Tuesday, September 12, U.S. Navy Electronics Technician 2nd Class Dustin Louis Doyon was laid to rest in his hometown of Suffield.

Two New Firefighters

Crafters Wanted

The Suffield Fire Department Auxiliary will host the return of its Annual Harvest Crafts Fair on Saturday, November 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center Firehouse, 73 Mountain Rd. (Rt. 168), Suffield.

First Selectman’s Update

Earlier in September, I participated with mayors, first selectmen and leadership from the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) in a press conference at the Capitol criticizing the drastic proposed municipal cuts and the failure to adopt a budget.

Leaf Disposal Information

Leaves may be dropped off at the Town Landfill for six Sundays starting on October 15 through November 19 from noon to 4 p.m. These extended Sunday hours are for leaf collection only.
