The coronavirus is no laughing matter. Since March, it’s been difficult to even chuckle.
On July 1, John Ryan, an EMT with Suffield Ambulance, was released from hospital and rehabilitation care after 60 days battling COVID-19. An uphill battle, John’s recovery and homecoming were welcome events for many people.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit New York in March and large gatherings and special events came to a screeching halt, so too did Ruth Loiseau’s floral design business. But Loiseau, a Master Floral Designer, wasn’t sidelined for long.
Curbside delivery at the Broad Brook Brewery on South Street was bustling on Sunday afternoon, May 24, after the brewery put out the word that online orders would be taken starting Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m.
