Troop 260 and 262 had another awesome adventure in August biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
In June, Boy and Girl Scouts from Troops 260 and 262 showed their resilience and built up their outdoor experience on an ultralight hike along a beautiful section of the Appalachian Trail.
Spring, a season of growth. Buds are blooming, plants are sprouting and the air blows with promise.
The town welcomed longtime Suffield native, Eric Remington, as the new Director of Finance last month. Eric is an 11th generation Suffield resident.
The Scouts of 260 and 262 had a terrific skills weekend at our local gem of a park, Sunrise Park.
Andiamo in Italia! translated means, “We are going to Italy!” Troops 260 and 262 recently announced they are planning an epic trip to Italy in the summer of 2023.
At the beginning of March, Troop 260 and 262 held a climbing event at Central Rock Gym in Glastonbury.
Jake Hopkins bravely traverses Troop 260’s annual rope bridge at SOTG. Troop 260 is a high adventure Scout group providing outdoor opportunities including caving excursions, scuba trips, canoeing adventures, urban navigation trips, hiking, camping and lots more, for boys and now girls (Troop 262) in Suffield.
As you drive around Suffield, not only will you see the trees budding and flowers blooming but you will see many local farm stands opening their “doors” or setting up their stands at the end of their driveways to sell their local treasures.
We aren’t going to be “Saved By The Bell” on this one. 20 years has really passed and it is time to celebrate our “Wonder Years.”
