Almost 225 years to the day, Composite Lodge #28 celebrated its Masonic Heritage. On May 15, 1794 Morning Star Lodge # 28 received its first Charter from the Grand Lodge of the State of Connecticut.

The Polish Heritage Society will meet on Wednesday June 5 at 10 a.m. at the Suffield Ambulance Center.
Again this summer, children and their families will have the opportunity to enroll in hands-on learning programs. There are several new themes for children; poetry, nature exploration and yoga. The Poetry in Nature program the week of June 24 is for elementary students.
The National Association of Mail Carriers Food Drive was a huge success in Suffield!
The short respite in this year’s unending spring rains came on May 11, just the right day for Suffield’s eighth annual PMC Kids Ride. The children’s ride is a supplement to the big Pan-Mass Challenge bike ride, a two-day event each summer ending on Cape Cod in Provincetown.
While it is hard to believe, on Friday August 9, at Oak Ridge Golf Course the Suffield Rotary will be sponsoring the 28th Annual Glenn T. Packard Memorial Golf Tournament. For over a quarter of a century, this tournament, memorializing Glenn, has benefitted the Town of Suffield and its athletes.
The Friends of Suffield boosted community service recently when the group awarded its 2019 financial grants to several local organizations.
