Second Chance Shop Ushers in Spring Fashions

A two day 75% off winter clearance sale and a $10 fill-a-bag-with-clothes promotion netted the Second Chance shop over $1,100, according to co-president Ellen Peterson.
The Suffield Woman’s Club (SWC) is accepting applications for the Thea Coburn Scholarship. This $3,000 renewable scholarship is open to men and women of all ages who have completed at least one year of higher education or have been in the work force or in the military.
It’s a magical midwinter love story. Directed by Janine Corman, with original music by Michael Corman, this delightful play continues to perform on March 4, 5, *6, 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. (*2 p.m. matinee.) Tickets: $20, with discounts for students, seniors, groups and season subscribers.
