In a unique initiative that celebrates the town’s agricultural heritage and arts community, the Town of Suffield is proud to announce a new collaborative project between local artists and farm stand operators.

On July 4, 2026, our nation will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! America250 is a multiyear effort to help our nation, all 50 states, and over 100,000 cities, towns and villages commemorate the semi quincentennial, or 250th anniversary, of the United States. Cool Air at Academy Hall

The West Suffield Village Improvement Association is happy to announce the receipt of a generous Zak grant through the Hartford Foundation which has been used to install air conditioning and heating at Academy Hall

As I reflect on my first two months as superintendent, I am grateful and excited to be in Suffield.

Spaulding School Food Waste Program Succeeds

If you could bottle the enthusiasm shown by 8-year-olds Kinsley Smith and Patrick Wheeler over the food scrap collection program they took part in last year at Spaulding Elementary School and apply it to other town issues, solutions could become much less intimidating.
