On a recent Friday, I found myself in CVS waiting for my mom to pick up a “few things.” As I lingered, I ran into John Coggins, a guy I have known for more than 12 years.
Throughout Connecticut, across the country, and around the world, people from all walks of life are demonstrating their belief that political leadership must take decisive action to acknowledge mistakes, take corrective action, then move on. Accountability is required to end racism and sexism.
The Suffield Farmers Market is back this summer and will be running every Saturday this summer until October 2. There will be the vendors you have come to rely on as well as new vendors.

We are looking forward to celebrating the 350th anniversary of the settlement of the Town of Suffield in October of this year, on the town’s 351st birthday. The 350th committee will be selling merchandise to commemorate the event all summer at the Suffield Farmers Market and at Cupola Hollow Farms.

While making the rounds to see the barn quilts, Bev Sikes stopped to visit the one she designed and painted for the Historical Society. The Barn Quilt Trail flyer inserted in The Observer last month has the wrong artist’s name on her quilt.
