Summertime brings many visitors to the historic Phelps-Hatheway House, not just to enjoy the house itself, but to take a timeless stroll through the gardens, lovingly tended by volunteers from the Suffield Garden Club.

On Saturday, June 4, ABAR Suffield held its second annual Suffield Pride event.
Paula Pascoe is ready to retire. She will leave the Director of the Senior Center position in August.

A highlight of the summer season, Suffield Garden Club is presenting a garden tour, “Celebrating Summer Gardens,” on July 16 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Five private gardens about town and the gardens of the historic Hatheway House and Hilltop Farm will be open to visitors. The tour will feature unique gardens, such as a glorious two-acre property with walls of towering twelve-foot hydrangeas and hundreds of juniper, yew and boxwood.
The Suffield Parks and Recreation Bowling Buddies Group visited the very beautiful Roaring Acres Alpaca Farm on June 15 for an end of spring party and to celebrate some upcoming June birthdays and had a fabulous time.
On Thursday, April 21, Brooke Swenson stood amongst more than half of Suffield High School as they gathered in the middle school parking lot for the first day of the three-day climate celebration “Walk to the Hart.”
Suffield’s newest ice cream shop, Hilltop Farm Store and Creamery, at 1616 Mapleton Ave is opening soon.
