My name is Christina Vega. I am Afro-Latina, and I am so proud.
It is with great anticipation that I write this article as we prepare for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Suffield for its continued investment in the education and welfare of our children.
Community is important. If it were not for my community of staff within the Library, I may not have taken the plunge into the pool of candidates for Library Director.

Surely, we all sympathize with the very difficult position in which our schools are finding themselves during the Coronavirus outbreak, as they try to make decisions about the upcoming academic year.
The campus at Suffield Academy is a well-maintained historic site on our Main Street, so it is no surprise to learn that behind the scenes the school has been working steadily for many years to improve its use of natural resources, reduce its carbon footprint, and thus become more environmentally friendly.
The Suffield Athletic Hall of Fame is pleased to recognize Lilia Rzecinski and Stephen Sattan as the recipients of their 2020 scholarships.
Perhaps, like me, you have found that when authors write about obscure historical figures, their work becomes more a history of the era than an actual biography.
