Smiles all around, SHS senior soccer star Brandon Lewis’s parents Tim and Amy stand by on March 3 as Brandon signs his agreement to accept a scholarship from Western New England University.
Warmer weather is a welcome change after the dreary and isolating winter, and Kent Memorial Library staff couldn’t be happier than seeing our patrons browsing our collection, using our computers, and picking up kits and crafts to take home.
As part of our new ongoing “Books & Beyond Series”, Kent Memorial Library is delighted to announce a book discussion with award winning author Phan Qué Mai Nguyen on Wednesday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Kent Memorial Library staff is busy at work transitioning from our year of Virtual Programming to a hybrid selection of in person and continued virtual options. Thanks to Zoom we’ve been able to stay connected with our patrons despite the pandemic restrictions.
Good news! The Friends of the Library will resume their monthly book collections on Saturday, May 1 at Kent Memorial Library.
As we look forward to warmer weather, longer days, and the safety and promise of COVID-19 vaccinations, ABAR (anti-bias, anti-racist) Suffield members have been busy reorganizing for the future and preparing for some exciting spring and summer events.
The Suffield Woman’s Club (SWC) is accepting applications for the Thea Coburn Scholarship. This scholarship is open to men and women.
