The Suffield Land Conservancy is excited to announce a new partnership between the SLC and Suffield Public Schools. The SLC has acquired land located on Sheldon Street across from the high school’s entrance. The land is a total of 23.22 acres.
Co-proprietor Eric Mance of the Broad Brook Brewing Company is pictured on February 9 at the nearly complete bar of the brewery’s brew pub on South Street, which he said would take only a few weeks to complete.
In the Observer’s February article on Page 4 regarding the planned Town Hall renovation, our reporter mistakenly wrote that Gilbane Building had received guaranteed maximum price bids from sub-contractors in order to prepare an estimate of the full project cost. What Gilbane used was their own estimates of trade bid packages based on current trade industry rates.

One of the fun topics that sometimes arises in a Polish Heritage Society (PHS) meeting has to do with the family cow. The members of the PHS that tended to the family cow, whether on their own property or their grandparents’, loved that animal.
The Suffield Historical Society is looking for guest presenters for its annual Show and Tell meeting on Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the Kent Memorial Library.
