I’m going through this thing now where people are contacting me, asking what is going on with Bridge Street School. I can answer questions because I’ve documented its history for 20 years.
Last month, I noted the enormous sacrifice made by our veterans to protect our right to vote. This month, I pay tribute to the courageous heroines who fought for that very right for women.

You turn on the tap; you flush the toilet. Stuff goes down the drain. It’s gone. Vanished. Out of sight, out of mind.
The street lights in Suffield have been owned by Eversource. However the Town decided to purchase them in a cost-savings effort.
I graduated from Suffield High School and my mom still lives here. When visiting in mid-September, I was appalled by the profane election signage that is currently being posted on people’s lawns.
Here in this time of Covid-19, with all its limitations and boundaries, there are some relationships that have come to be more important than ever. If you are a pet owner, you know what I mean.
Enthusiastic celebrators gathered in the Suffield High School parking lot on a lovely fall afternoon, Sunday, October 11, for an anniversary car parade.
Suffield’s first experience with the “Field of Flags” concept was assembled on a breezy, beautiful Saturday morning of the 350th celebration weekend, October 10, with great results.
