The customary parade on May 31, if it hadn’t been cancelled because of the weather, would have taken a new route: down North Main Street from Russell Avenue instead of up Mountain Road from Ffyler Place.

Suffield’s Assessor announced on June 9 the completion of a pandemic-long project to streamline access to older survey maps by adding the information to property cards. The undertaking involved over 4,700 maps.
We are looking forward to celebrating the 350th anniversary of the settlement of the Town of Suffield in October of this year, on the town’s 351st birthday. The 350th committee will be selling merchandise to commemorate the event all summer at the Suffield Farmers Market and at Cupola Hollow Farms.
The Town of Suffield released an on-line survey to determine resident perceptions of both housing needs and possible strategies looking forward. The survey plays an important step in the process of preparing an Affordable Housing Plan as required by State law.
The Suffield Parks and Rec. department is excited to announce that the Summer 5K Series at Bruce Park will be back in 2021. This year will feature a new and improved 5-kilometer course, and races will be every Monday at 6 p.m. from June 28 through July 26.
