Congratulations to Suffield High School’s Valedictorian Vansh Patel and Salutatorian Gabriella Santaniello.
May 20 marked the first of its kind virtual award ceremony for the Suffield Agriscience FFA chapter. It is traditionally a bittersweet ceremony, as it is the last official meeting the chapter officers and chapter holds for the year.
Because most of this year’s Suffield High School graduation events have been cancelled due to the coronavirus, Safe Grad still wanted to show that they cared.
People who work in schools often speak of challenges, especially in terms of helping students learn to make the best of them. “Every challenge is an opportunity,” we say to students and to one another.

On April 7, after four weeks of “distance learning” at home, Suffield students of Spaulding and McAlister got to see their teachers again in a lovely gesture organized by the staffs of both schools: a motorized teachers’ parade that covered almost every street in town.
In spite of schools being closed as of March 16, the school food service department continues to provide meals to students. The meals are available to all children age 18 and under.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of some important information related to elementary administrative assignments for the 2020-2021 school year. Although we do not provide notice of staff assignments until our budget has been formally approved, we feel it is important to provide early notice regarding the following administrator appointments as we prepare for their upcoming transition.
