Jared Lobo has been named Division 4 All State for Basketball and is one of only 11 players in Connecticut chosen for both All-State and Academic All-State.

Congratulations to Matthew Skoczylas, who was chosen as the April Rotary Student of the Month. Matthew is a senior at Suffield High School, an Honors student and also a member of the National French Honor Society.
SHS Senior Amanda Litvak has been recognized by the National Center for Women & Information Technology for the second consecutive year. This year Amanda received the Aspirations in Computing Award.

Every year McAlister Intermediate School celebrates Arbor Day with the help of the Suffield Garden Club (SGC). Following a special Arbor Day assembly for the entire fourth grade class, members of the club distribute a sapling tree to each child, with instructions and advice for planting and care.
Aces High, Team 176, has a proud tradition, and this year the Windsor Locks-Suffield team in the world-wide FIRST Robots Championship added well to that record.
The short respite in this year’s unending spring rains came on May 11, just the right day for Suffield’s eighth annual PMC Kids Ride. The children’s ride is a supplement to the big Pan-Mass Challenge bike ride, a two-day event each summer ending on Cape Cod in Provincetown.
While it is hard to believe, on Friday August 9, at Oak Ridge Golf Course the Suffield Rotary will be sponsoring the 28th Annual Glenn T. Packard Memorial Golf Tournament. For over a quarter of a century, this tournament, memorializing Glenn, has benefitted the Town of Suffield and its athletes.
