The alpaca farm was hidden for eight years, and now it is finally open until Christmas. It is open Wednesdays – Sundays, 12 – 4 p.m.

This year’s Suffield on the Green had the feel of a typical fall weekend, however there was some rain on both Saturday and Sunday that closed the SOTG early at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, although, the sun did eventually come out on Sunday. The crowds, crafters, musicians, local charities and food booths were resilient!!!

Despite some obstacles – including the current COVID-19 epidemic – the Suffield Middle School program continues to flourish as one of the strongest academic program the school offers its approximately 450 students on an annual basis.
Unfortunately, our field hockey team wasn’t able to compete against their NCCC seeds as a result of two other teams quarantining.
In November, the Library was decorated for Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, and as we were setting up the finishing touches, the staff discussed what it must be like to celebrate this time of year in different areas of the world.
We’ve got new books in the kids’ room, and here are a couple of my faves!

Congratulations to Ben Begley, who was chosen as the Rotary Student of the Month for September & Laila Lawson, who was chosen as the Rotary Student of the Month for October.
Each day there are students making a difference in the community from silent acts of kindness to large-scale, community-wide movements.
